THE INITITATION SPREAD
The initiation spread helps us tune in to the lesson we are now learning in life. There may be millions of applications for each lesson taught and learned at many levels of understanding as we learn and relearn the same lessons. It has been said that there are seven levels to understanding any teaching. As we view each lesson from the Seven Sacred Directions that surround our Sacred Space. East, South, West, North, Above, Below, and Within- we can see every level of our total being.
| As each lesson and act of life has its own initiation, so each of these activities has a power animal Totem that will best help us in learning a lesson. This Totem is our guide, our guardian, our teacher, and our friend. Often the lessons are hard and we may be blind to the things that are blocking our further progress. |

In calling on a Creature- being for guidence, we are opening our
consciousness to the growth potential offered by each Totem. These
Creature-beings have naturally learned in what we seek to
comprehension. They can show us, through their procedures and
instinct, the pathways to effectively completing our chosen lesson.

If a mountain were viewed from each of these directions, each face of the mountain peak would be different, but it would be the same mountain peak. So it is with all initiations. Different people will experience very different lessons because the lesson will be relevant to their personal experience. The Totems will teach the key to finding how the lesson applies to a present life circumstances. You must use your gift of initiation to see your personal circumstances. The use of initiation is the initiation into each forthcoming lesson of awareness. It works best if you hold a particular question or situation in your mine while you ask the Totem-teachers and the Sacred Teachings to come forward. This teaching reveals the improvement in attitude that may be needed for you to conquer your next challenge in life. Each person will have to look deeply, distinguish and owe the aspects of Self they would like to keep or change. Remember that the heart is the Within direction, and truth must live inside the heart or living becomes a lie. |
